She shakes her head, “Sorry.”

" Fine with meh "

She laughs, “I’m going to go read.”

Nods

She sits down in a couch and opens her book.

A few moments later Shinichi went to sin on a chair reading

Lori curls up, her legs tucked under her.

Shinichi reads book after books after books

Shinichi went to the entrance

Lori follows him, “Were too?”

"Entrance"

Librarian

Kohasu was alone, without her brother, her white hair pulled up into a high ponytail. She read a book on historys of water demons, and highlighted inaccuracies inside despite it being a school book.

Caledonia entered the room, flames flickering around her from her agitation earlier, and she stormed towards one area of the library, but stopped short at seeing a water elements. With a groan inside, she turned back around

" Welcome i am sure u know the rule. need any help pls call me im Ms. Leong"

Caledonia stiffened. "What? What rule?"

" Be quiet so u don't mess up others reading. If u need any thing whisper. Have fun. "

She looked up, glaring instantly, she didn’t need to ask to know what element this one was. Fire.

Caledonia huffed at the librarian but nodded. She felt someone's eyes on her and turned to see one of the waters glaring at her.
Usually, with others around her age, she wanted to get to know people, but adults and classes had rubbed her the wrong way, as did her glaring, so Caledonia created a few flames on her fingers without losing eye contact with her, and then extinguished them. "Stop staring."

“No.” To her, there was a long-standing hatred in her family against fire elements, as they were said to be unclean since they don’t wash themselves, again a myth. She takes it to heart and refuses to think of ANY fire in a good way. She still glared, cold.

"What's your problem?" She asked. "If you wanted me to be a bit quieter, you could have just said so."

“You’re disrupting my learning. I should report you for disturbing peoples peace at school.” She smirked. The water in her bottle moved.

"That's petty. All I did was come in here." She clasped her hands behind her back, trying to hold onto her temper.

“And? Still counts.” She laughed, silently. She was just going to push her buttons. What could she say? Water demons and fire elements don’t mix. As long as she didn’t attack first, everything would be fine.

"No, it doesn't," she replied flatly. "Anyone can come in a library, you don't own it. But maybe you're one of those snobs who thinks they do. I guess everywhere has at least one."

“At least I’m not a slob. Anyone knows fire elements can’t actually do anything right. You cant even enter a library properly. With respect, for us…” she paused, for effect, and dryly continued “‘snobs’.”

"A slob?" Caledonia stared. "Where in the world...is that one of those stupid, nonsensical myths or stereotypes? How would you even know unless you were a fire element?" So that's what it about, she thought. The fire. "Well, you are a snob," she snapped, starting to lose it. "It's a freaking library. I was a little angry coming in, but you can't expect everyone to be so happy all the time. Maybe you should study in your room if you can't understand the concept of a public space."

“Are you sure I don’t?” She said, keeping her voice low and quiet. “You were even told to be quiet when you came in, look at you. It proves my point.” She smiled, to provoke her.

Caledonia breathed hard. "Probably just because I was steaming," she growled. "Now how about you mind your own business, and I grab a book and leave. Would that settle things for you?"

“Would it……? Hm, let’s see. No. You’ve disrupted my studies, and I can’t get back my valuable time. If you properly apologized and I’m not sure, manage to get all the fire elements gone out of this school, maybe.” She laughed, again silent.

Caledonia was stunned. In her time in the orphanage, of course she'd seen bullies, but they'd all been fire elements, and she'd never dealt with this much hatred before. "You've got to be kidding me. Why would I apologize, I did nothing wrong. And seriously? Look, I know other elements are obnoxious, but you water elements must be horrible. I could report you for that comment. Maybe I will."

“Do you have proof? Everyone here would believe a fire element verbally attacked a water element, not the other way around. You did start this.” She smiled, her red eyes glinting.

Caledonia hissed. "This is ridiculous, the librarian will vouch for the fact that all I did was walk in here! I'm reporting that comment." She turned and started towards the door, flickering once again.

((oh my gosh right?!))

“Good luck.” She laughed, as her brother walked in. “Mizu, she’s bothersome. She called all the waters snobs. And she insists on blaming me for something I didn’t do.”

Anger churned to life inside Caledonia, and she whirled around, halting. "Oh, so now you're drawing another water element into this? This is all your fault and you know it! How in the world are you laughing, what is your darn problem?"
Flames slithered along her wrists, hands, and arms as smoke curled around her fingers. Her red hair sparked. She needed to get a grip, but if this bully didn't shut up soon, she didn't know how she could.

Mizu looked shocked. “Hey! Don’t say that! There’s nothing wrong with her.”

Kohasu grinned. “Will you report yourself for that to? If you attack me it’s all over for you.”

“‘Seriously injuring a student.’ I can see your expulsion already. Depending on how you attack me, your death.” She continued.

"There's nothing wrong with her? Oh, there is so something wrong with her! She's a bully, and she said she wants all the fire elements gone. And did you just hear her? She just threatened to kill me! That's it, I'm reporting this, I'm reporting you!" She yelled at the girl, and then snapped. She unleashed her fire into a nearby empty fireplace, unable to hold in the anger, and ended up increasing the temperature in the room.

“Tsk-tsk, getting mad so quickly over nothing. This won’t look good for you. I never threatened to kill you. Had you attacked me, you would be put to death if you killed me.” She said, shaking her head in disapproval, while being calm, and sounding polite.

“….” Mizu watched, sweating, as water elements didn’t do well in the heat.

Kohasu was recording Caledonia at the parts where she insulted water elements in general, and where she snapped. She swiftly edited out all the parts where it would make herself look bad. At this point, it looked like she was just tapping a screen.

"Put to death by who? I think I could defend myself, after all, I'm sure we could dig up your history and find other horrific acts you've probably committed," she snapped. "And I won't attack you. What the heck are you doing with that thing?" She demanded, pointing at the screen. "I'm sure there are cameras all around here that will show things how they actually happened. I won't attack you."

She glanced at Mizu out of the corner of her eye. She saw his sweating, and added more fire to the fireplace, just enough to pull the heat up again, trying to drive them out or at least agitate them.

“Most people wouldn’t attack anything in a library, they don’t. I’ve checked. This is how it really happened.” She stood up, and walked a bit closer to Caledonia. “They wouldn’t find anything on me.”


Mizu just looked sad, he really has no choice but to go along with, and defend Kohasu, or he will be killed by her.

Caledonia trembled, but held her ground. "Get away from me," she whispered in a shaking, but threatening, voice. Panic flared to life at Kohasu's nearness and her words about how it actually happened. She eyed the device in her hands, and then grabbed it from her and immediately started to melt it, having a gut feeling she had been doing something shady on it. But with the evidence gone, nobody would know.
