Is the format of the topic okay?

Yeah! Totally! So what do you want to start with? There are 317 pages (at least in my copy). Did you want to read 1-50 or 1-100? We could also do chapter 1-4 or just part 1 at first.

I have the ebook so going by chapters will be good for me as our page numbers won't match.
So does chapter 1-3 sound good?

I finished the first 3 chapters and I'm intrigued. I really like the writing style too!

What are your thoughts so far?

I have gotten a bit through it... I am almost done with 3 chapters! (I shouldn't have started City of Bones... it is hard to focus on this one with all of everything happening in the other one)

Yes! It is so hard not to just read all day with so many books.

I really like this book becuase it is different and the perspectives switch. I also like this book because I can really connect. That and the stepmother isn't as mean as some other books.

I dislike how there really aren't "chapters", I really like it when it has the chapter #.

- I can totally imagine Elle and Darien beside each other, and they are so perfect (in my opinion)...

- How are you pronouncing Elle's name? I originally started with (L-ee) Ellie almost. Then now that I know her name is Danelle it makes me think more L almost.

I think it's pronounced "Dan-ee-el"
With the "L" at the end.
So I pronounce it "L"

I am waiting to organize my thoughts a bit. Overall, currently, probably a 4.5 (I am not sure to round up or down yet though iykwim).

How are you liking the book? Any highlights we can talk about?

I really like how strong headed Elle is, and how unlike Cinderella she actually pushes back a bit. I also like how both her sisters are a bit different in the "evil" category...

I'd say I'm liking the book, but I want to see more than just Starfield. I want the characters personalities explored a bit more. Maybe that's gonna happen soon.

And also how they got Darien a bodygard. Ugh. It must suck to have your privacy invaded always.

Danielle, sometimes idk she annoys me. But I'm hoping that'll get resolved.

Tbh, I feel like Danielle's personality is definitely very different from Cinderella.
Yes, they're not as bad as some other characters in books.

I really don't like Mark. All he cares about is money and publicity and not his son. I feel bad for Darien.

Danielle annys you? I didn't get that feel, but I can kind of see how she would annoy someone. She is a bit... interesting.

Yeah, I like the stepsisters a bit more until the end (I like one more, one less). I still dislike her stepmom.

Yeah, Mark is terrible. (But wait until the end...)
