Hmm.. I don't think I've ever put a limit before so I'm going to go with no. Go crazy 😄

If you find a book that works for all of them I will be very impressed.

Looking back at our past anniversary challenges, I allowed any edition to be used for publication date. So I will continue being consistent with that - hope that helps!!😄

Correct :)
Correct :)
Ok so just to make sure I've got this right in terms of stacking bonuses. Take this book for example.
To start, this is the 6th book in the October Daye series so that's 12 bonus points to start off with.
The default edition we use for number of pages has 363 pages, so that's 6 bonus points.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
This edition was published on the 6th of September, so that's 12 bonus points.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
This edition was published in 2016, so that's 12 bonus points.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
So this one would earn 42 bonus points? And if I got lucky and found the word anniversary in there somewhere (no Amazon look inside to double check and I have a print copy) that would be 18 more totaling 60?

Do I have to both start and finish a book in May/June for it to be counted for the challenge? If I have started something in April and finish it in May, will it count ?

If you started a book before May, but finish it in May, you would just be counting the pages you read in May. Since this is a page count challenge - anything will really count.

So would that be 54 points altogether?

Is it on Amazon? If yes, then you can use that page count.
If it's not, you can use the following ways to figure out the page count,
Audiobooks - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
eBooks - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

You're welcome. I might look into an easier formula for ebooks than the one we got just because I know other groups do something a bit differently when it comes to figuring those page counts out.

D.G. wrote: "So if understand the rules correctly, DNFs count for pages but not for bonus?"
Correct. If you DNF a book you will only count the pages that you read.

Can we use any edition for any of the bonus categories or only the one mentioned?

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it works for any of the bonus points.

Did I read somewhere that it is a minimum of 4 comments for a buddy read and if your buddy doesn't show up you still get the points?

Very unfortunate! LOL I thought maybe 6 in the title. But okay, thanks :)

For "Book that has 6 in the page count → 6 pts"...can we use any edition or only the "most popular" (which is the one we use for pages?)

For books that are partially read in May, can we also get a bonus or just pages? (I have a book which I read 78% in May...)

It is a page point challenge, so yes, you can count bonuses as well.
