I used to say I complete every book I start reading. I even managed to finish this but what a chore. I got zero pleasure, though I did get annoyed often, so it stirred some emotion. Since then I have cancelled that rule of reading all. Life is too short, so I have him to thank for that, at least.

Nice. Well, there are tons of books you can find pleasure from if Ulysses did not give you any.
