Apparently that's what the preferred term seems to be, at least from TikTok among the Book community. I've heard that and wlw (women loving women). I don't know what brought about the shift but I found it interesting and common enough that I changed my terminology.

Hey, Nancy, I am so sorry I didn't see this message. It took me forever to learn to do that! Did you figure it out? I'm glad someone else responded. Planning for our short vacay, our fridge and freezer of our side-by-side, watching two of my grandkids two days ALL DAY (ugh...tiring!), a granddaughter in a car wreck that totaled her car...I came on here and did my thing and off again. Thankfully we finally were able to find the fridge we wanted yesterday but they had to order it (at first she said June 6) and it'll be here next week on Tuesday. They have to do their thing to get it in inventory and they'll call us within 3 days and then we can set up and appointment. Living in 3 different ice chests is only fun if you're camping. LOL

So my reading has been super slow for me but I already knew that would be the case this week and the 16th thru 25th or 26th. I'm glad I've been able to stay on top of the DQ's and I'm also reading The Year of Fog by Michelle Richmond which is 369 pages but I'm only 28% done. At least I'm reading. LOL

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2326 comments Captains, I have a question. I posted a couple things for the BINGO but noticed neither was used, so I simply wanted to know if I did it wrong or the reason why not. Perhaps because you used it for -Faust Eric (?) and I'm curious what that is...a character from Discworld? Just trying to figure out the challenge a wee bit better. Thanks :)

Also, when I am finished with the DQ book The Foundling by Stacey Halls do I post it in this thread or does it only count for the DQ's?

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Vicki wrote: "Captains, I have a question. I posted a couple things for the BINGO but noticed neither was used, so I simply wanted to know if I did it wrong or the reason why not. Perhaps because you used it for..."

We're trying to fill in the harder options first so Eldarwen may have found something it worked for that might have been harder to fill than a BINGO spot since the BINGO spots are bit more open to interpretation than the task.

You would also post your completion with what it works for here once you are done with the daily questions. We get points for the DQs as well as you reading it and whatever task it might work for. The DQ points are a bonus :)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2326 comments Thanks, Stacie ;) I figured that's what happened but I wasn't 100% if maybe I had done something wrong. I only had to do 3 DQ's which I finished so I'll probably finish it. I am really enjoying it!

One more question: who is -Faust-Eric that my book was used for? Just curious since I've never heard of him.

For the tasks that aren't exactly clear from the book page on GR (such as someone making a new friend), a little explanation might help.

Otherwise, all good :-)

(Though I prefer full names of characters for spell-outs if they aren't obvious from the book page, but that's me hehe. I'm a little anal with these things ;-))

Haha, it was the one I had my eye on for the book ever since it was announced and realised with surprise that there were two titles. I still don't know why actually?!

Oh that cover is a nice one! I'll write you down for that task because while it isn't strictly speaking all that difficult to find, it is difficult to find a cover where on the GR picture you can actually see that the cover is gold. :-)
