Love the cwa awards. Always enjoy finding out what won. Must be very difficult to be a judge, so many excellent books to choose from. Rooting for Peter May to win the Dagger in the library 🗡

The one I’m always most intrigued by is the debut dagger award. I like seeing who the “new kids on the block” are. Am also rooting for Peter May to win Dagger in the Library

Enjoyed looking at the longlist and then realised this was back in April and so a quick search of the page lead me to a much shortened list, the winners.

Looks like some promising reads there ... I'm curious about the winner of the The Crime Fiction in Translation Dagger-
South Korean author Yun Ko-eun for The Disaster Tourist, translated by Lizzie Buehler, praised by the CWA judges as a ‘wildly entertaining eco-thriller’.
