We all must have experienced reading a book which didn't pique our interest and was too boring to continue, a book you kept reading even when you are least interested in knowing what's going to happen or how's it going to end.

So, why or what kept you going for such a book? Why did you keep reading?
And which book(s) fall in this list?

Tell us here!

Austin George | 471 comments I keep going bcoz I don't like to DNF a book. Also it adds upto the total number of books I have read which I can later boast with other bookworms or I can say that I also read so-and-so book.

Some of the books that fall under this category are :

The Hobbit
The Sixth Soul
The March of the Aryans (2nd half)
The Girl who Played with Fire (1st 1/3)

Arundhati | 1454 comments Second First Impressions- I totally didn't enjoy this book. I usually dnf a book if J find it boring but I really pushed through this one just because I loved The Hating Game. It is my favorite so just for that sake I really pushed through.

Six of Crows- Ok so this would come as a big surprise. I dnfed SoC 3 times. I had not the grisha trilogy and the starting of SoC seemed just too slow. I just couldn't get into it. ( It's mostly I was not in the right mood). But the book was soooo hyped I wanted to finish it. And then I did. And I really am grateful that I did not giveup on SoC because now it is my YA favourite series of all time. I love it so so much.
