Thanks! The ISBN is 0553235915. Which unfortunately does not really help.

All of the Nero Wolfe books are like this in paperback--lots of editions published under the same ISBN, and Bantam changed the covers at least a couple of times within the same edition.

This particular cover is the 9th printing (1983) of the 1957 Bantam edition, which had a new (1983) front cover and a new (1979) back cover, but was otherwise the same edition as the previous 8.

It's not easy to figure out which edition you've got, even when you're looking at it. I've got a couple where I'm still not sure, and I'm not posting the covers until I figure it out.

I have added a note that it is an Alternate Cover Edition for that ISBN.

Even though you say it doesn't help, it actually does. That way we can mention the ISBN in the description as being and ACE of the other edition.
