Krysta (booksaremyfavthing) | 115 comments I normally really enjoy James Patterson's books, but I didn't care for this one.

Yes. And I liked most of them. I think it was the names in this one that made this one hard to follow.

Narma | 49 comments I'm not Indian, but yes Americans hate Indian names (or anything that deviates from their usual American nomenclature). I was in your country once, couldn't recall the times my simple name Narma was mispronounced and mocked by your people...

I agree Narma. My name is misprounced all the time. Only if people know me is it pronounced correctly. Maybe there was another reason why this book was hard to follow, and maybe you would enjoy it. I am very unfamiliar with Indian customs and names, and maybe Mr. Patterson could have used easier names for us to understanding, but when he kills them off so fast and then he only refers to them by the last name and the last names sounded so close to the first names it made it hard to keep the people straight.

Ashley (bibliophrenia) | 112 comments Sorry to hear that we treated you so poorly Narma. I can see why people would mispronounce your name, but it's ridiculous to mock somebody..

To be honest, I had a problem in the first Private book with the names. There were characters not mentioned enough and I often had to pause the audiobook simply to try to remember who the heck the person was. Add in foreign names, I'm not sure I will have a chance. Nothing personal, but my memory isn't built much for it.

Viju (_viju) This is not the best book for this challenge. I got this book for review and the errors that were present made me wonder if there was any editing or proof-reading done, especially considering that it was two authors. Better to stay away from this one.
