Have you ever met an author? What was it like?

I've never met one in person, but we've skyped with authors in our school, so idk if that counts, but I've talked to

Wow! My school would never do that lol. I once attended a Zoom session with Sudha Murty, where she talked about her new book and answered our questions, but that's the closest I've been to meeting an author.

I met an author of a children's picture book in year 6? I was daydreaming the whole time though 😂

I've also seen Laini Taylor a lot cuz she lives in my city. I still have yet to read any of her books but I'll just be at a book signing in my city and look over and she's right there next to me.
