Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is one webtoon that for sure competes with solo leveling. It’s art style is similar and the story is extremely engaging. Instead of the main focus of the comic being the main character progress and eventually become stronger the author takes a much more interesting approach

Although the character does progress throughout the story and eventually becomes stronger from the start the story has more of a frame narrative. The main character of the comic is put into the world of a story he was reading where he is one of the side characters and the main character is absurdly powerful. He must use his knowledge of the story to do his best to survive. It’s one of the most popular webtoons right now despite it being relatively new and only in its first season (around only 50+ chapter right now).
