I'm pumped for the challenge .

Ohhhhh. 15 minutes!

All set to begin. Have breakfast - cereal and blueberries - in front of me. First book by toss of coin is The Odor of Violets by Baynard Kendrick.

I am in.. need that check for my bingo card

Almost 10 minutes to go - I am beyond excited for this!

The power of flipping the coin slash TBR jar slash tiny post its because I couldn't bother to find a jar chose The Survivors as my first read!

I have my glass of water and my quiet living room. Starting which was decided by a flip of a coin ( really a roll of a die, as I"m finishing my second go round on the board game!)

I'm going to start with A Morbid Taste for Bones by Ellis Peters just because it's short and on the top of the pile.

Just had lunch and put my pyjamas on. Got my music, a large cup of tea and my book ready. If only one of my cats would want to join me, I am ready for the first hour sprint!

I'm endeavoring to finish up The Borgia Bride as my first read. Not my usual go-to genre, but enjoyable so far.

It's lunchtime here, was listening to Golden Son while making a cake, now settling down to read A Dance With Dragons for oldest book on TBR

I did a coin toss between Sunshine on Scotland Street (Alexander McCall Smith) and Shake Hands Forever (Ruth Rendell), both audiobooks, and Sunshine on Scotland Street won. I always start out with an audiobook, so I can listen while I am making coffee (readathon starts at 6am here, and I HATE mornings) and acting moderatorish (on facebook).

Mine starts at 8 am. Woke up at 745. Drinking Peet's coffee, listening to the easy kids audio I had planned while on the computer doing opening surveys, updates on Instagram and Twitter, here, and eyeing the FB group.

Max and I have been sprinting. I am listening to Djinn Patrol on the Purple Line and Max is listening to Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky.

With the first sprint over, I must say it was a success for me! I am very intrigued by The Survivors and I read 70 pages :)

41 pages of Hamnet in the bag. A great start!

Had a succesfull first hour sprint and read 110 pages in .

Whew! Got further than I thought I would in an hour! Read 230 pages from the manga Bleach (3-in-1 Edition), Vol. 10: Includes vols. 28, 29 30 .

Started my readathon with a coin flip. I got through a fair amount of Tentacle.

I read 88 pages of Bat and the End of Everything! Pretty good start! I spent the first hour reading in bed, and didn't even fall back asleep.

I just finished Being Lolita. Holy heck. I need a break now.

Finished the first hour of my audiobook (yay), and my first cup of coffee. I'll probably leave the audiobook on for a bit longer, till it is warm enough to sit outside, maybe.

Done! 110 pages of Silent Voice Vol. 3 and 65 pages of Summer at Firefly Beach! Almost finished with both of them but grabbing a snack now.

I read 45 pages from Despair

Managed to read 42 pages of The Silent Sister! A successful albeit slow start :)

Iread 58 pages of Maze Runner

Read The Princess in Black (90 pages) as a light-hearted intro to the readathon, then switched to Breath from Salt: A Deadly Genetic Disease, a New Era in Science, and the Patients and Families Who Changed Medicine Forever and read 39 pages.
Snack du sprint: Lays Yogurt and Seasonal Herbs chips (the closest Turkey has to sour cream and onion chips.)

First 60 pages done! \o/

41 pages :) it's non-fiction so it's a bit slow going

First 45 pages of . Felt more distracted than I do sometimes, but not sorry I started with this one!
