Just finished watching The Queen's Gambit and I absolutely adored it, one of my new all-time favourite shows.Currently watching Sherlock (REALLY loving it), Wednesday (cos I'm just an average person wanting to remain relevant in today's day and age), Violet Evergarden (cos why the hell not, I'm broken enough as it is), and Drive to Survive (for the 2nd time) because what else am I supposed to do until the start of the 2023 Formula 1 season in March other than rewatch one of my favourite shows and consume exclusively F1-related content on every social media platform?
No, I'm not doing very well, anyone else?
I just finished Wednesday, and I loved it! I had my doubts about whether or not the cast could live up to the character's history, especially her family, but to say I was positively surprised doesn't cover it. The characters were portrayed differently to the original films, but I still think they were still amazing. My only critique is that the plot twist was kind of obvious and that I personally didn't really like the romance in it. I don't think that the way they went about it fitted to Wednesday. It was just like every other teen series or movie in that aspect.
Still, it was really entertaining, and I love Wednesday and Enid with all my heart!

i love the queen's gambit! i watched the show, loved it, so i read the book (as any sane reader would do), then watched the show again and loved it even more. it's what got me back into playing chess.
The Vampire Diaries....for the billionth time!Waiting for Treason to come out on Netflix too.
