Demon Slayer was an extremely popular anime last year. With good reason too. The art was incredible, the character development, and plot was simply astonishing. Many people also liked the introduction song as it’s full of guitar solos. For those of you who haven’t watched this yet it’s now on Netflix so if your feeling bored or just looking for a good anime in general I highly recommend you watch this.
While some people may say that the plot development is slow and it takes to long to get to any good part, I would disagree. Instead of just seeing someone fight monsters and win, it’s important to have some background and breaks in between the action for the characters to develop, grow stronger, and create relationships with others. It probably would have been faster paced if they had a lower number of episodes, but this is a 26 episode anime that will probably get renewed for a few future seasons. During the first season it’s important to set a stable base to allow the show to grow. You want to introduce enough action and conflict to get the reader hooked while also providing a brief introduction or hints to a next season.
