7. Prodigal Son, Greg Hurwitz Not only was the cheap trick ending very dissatisfying, it was poorly written.

Dan in AZ | 2960 comments The plot was interesting. I just didn’t like his ending. Like someone said, You have one minute left, then close your test booklet, so you slapdash something down on the paper.

I've read all the Dresden books, but can't remember Peace Talks- so probably one I enjoyed visiting the world and character but didn't stand alone for me. The Changed Word (Sabo) series was a reading slump breaker for me, and I especially loved this one.

Peace Talks just came out last July.
