Cheryl Olson (girlsmama) | 694 comments Oh I'm so, so, excited for this one as I was delighted by the members that helped me out with it. Every month you will be given 5 titles from which to choose from. These are 5 of the top reads from some of your fellow members for last year. These are some great books and I'm excited for you to see your choices every month. Also included will be a few recommendations for upcoming new releases! If by chance you have read all 5 choices, you can choose to read one of the new releases ---->WHEN it is available! (some aren't out yet), or you can peruse the list of some of the other favorites from some of your members from previous months at this link- https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Also, if you would like to "reveal" to the group if this is your list, then feel free to do so, but you don't have to!

Honestly, I think one of my favorite parts of the group is sharing our love of reading and reading new books based on each other's recommendations, so I thought to myself, why not create a challenge featuring my favorite aspect of the group? And so for May, here are your 5 books to choose from, as well as 1 new release.

1. An Uncommon Woman by Laura Frantz An Uncommon Woman by Laura Frantz

2. The Lost Lieutenant (Serendipity & Secrets, #1) by Erica Vetsch The Lost Lieutenant by Erica Vetsch

3. The Gentleman Spy (Serendipity & Secrets, #2) by Erica Vetsch The Gentleman Spy by Erica Vetsch

4. To Love a Prince (True Blue Royal, #1) by Rachel Hauck To Love a Prince by Rachel Hauck

5. Autumn Skies (Bluebell Inn Romance, #3) by Denise Hunter Autumn Skies by Denise Hunterby Denise Hunter

And this member's most anticipated new release was The Indebted Earl (Serendipity & Secrets, #3) by Erica Vetsch The Indebted Earl by Erica Vetsch

So there you have it- looks like some amazing reads there for sure!

Yes, Hannah that seems to be an author that I need to try!- Let me know how you like it! My daughter is getting married in 2 weeks so I think that you will get to it before I do :) !

The Vetsch trilogy is delightful! I loved all three books so much, and the series built beautifully to a stunning crescendo.

I don't have any of the other books on my TBR, so I'll play catch-up on the previous months' books that I haven't yet gotten to.

Sarita | 2290 comments I'll either go for the Laura Frantz or Denise Hunter one.

I loved An Uncommon Woman by Laura Frantz ! It was a favorite from 2020 for me. Also enjoyed The Lost Lieutenant (Serendipity & Secrets, #1) by Erica Vetsch .

I'll probably read the next in the Vetsch series:
The Gentleman Spy (Serendipity & Secrets, #2) by Erica Vetsch

Ooh . . . what a good list! I was really excited to note that To Love a Prince (True Blue Royal, #1) by Rachel Hauck is in my library's collection, so I'm hopefully going to be able to read that. There are several people in the queue in front of me, though, so if I'm not able to get to that one, I'll be reading An Uncommon Woman by Laura Frantz instead. 😊

Katrina Lybbert | 886 comments I will choose The Lost Lieutenant (Serendipity & Secrets, #1) by Erica Vetsch . My library has a copy and I was able to borrow it as an e-book today! Yay.

Christine Indorf | 392 comments I have been reading a lot of mainstream of late and really have missed my Christian Fiction Books so I will be reading
To Love a Prince (True Blue Royal, #1) by Rachel Hauck
Have been wanting to read this book for awhile and who doesn't love Rachel Hauck!!

message 10: by Brittany (new)

Brittany | 548 comments This is my list!! I loved all of these books. Since I have already read all of them, of course, I will be reading one of the books from last month, which I was just notified that my library bought from my recommendation on Overdrive. It is Lakeshire Park by Megan Walker .

Nice Brittany! I would love to finish the Vetsch series. The first book was very good.

message 12: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Howeler | 8 comments I have no idea how this all works as I am new to the group but they all look very good. I'm going to try Erica's just for myself because I don't believe I've ever read a Regency book.

Welcome, Lisa! You're in for quite a treat with Mrs. Vetsch's Regency series. Her westerns are fun too.

This particular challenge is exactly like you did: You choose a book (or two or three) from the list to try to read this month.

I'm so glad you're joining in the fun!

Oh okay. I am a little bit of an airhead. I thought one person could only choose one but that wouldn't make much sense would it? Because then only a few people could participate. Yeah..so...I might need more sleep or something! Hahaha! Anyhow, looking forward to the book.

I ended up not being able to get To Love a Prince (True Blue Royal, #1) by Rachel Hauck this month, so I ended up reading An Uncommon Woman by Laura Frantz instead. Thanks for the list, Brittany!
