Lyra sighed, "Oh I dont want you to feel bad if you lose," She said with a teasing smile.
Lyra got into a running position and said, "3...2...1" She whispered 'go' and took off, she looked back to see James confused. SHe laughed and continued running. Her wings folding behind her.
Lyra started to fall behind, gasping for air, but she kinda did it on purpose. Trying to make James feel more at home. A smile was still on her face and her cheeks and ears hot.
"Why are you stopping? Go on, I'll catch up in a minute," She said, stopping for a fake breath. She wanted for him to continue running. A sly smirk appeared on her face.
Lyra sighed, "No, go on." She said. WHy wouldn't he just go? she thought. Her plan had been to fake that she was tired, have James keep going and then fly ahead and beat him to the Academy as a joke, but she didn't realize that James was not going to give up. She smiled sweetly.
Lyra let out a "hmph," She then regain herself, which wasn't really a problem and took off running again.
Lyra's wings lifted off the ground, she jumped a few places by lifting up off the ground and then flinging herself and then running back down on the ground. She was so close, she looked back at James.
Lyra flapped her wings and flew across the sky and was able to land just in time beating James. SHe laughed and smiled. "Better luck next time?" She said.
Lyra laughed, "You dont even know where your dorm is? follow me," SHe said smiling and taking his hand in hers.

Eva walks down the path, until she reaches a bench. She indicates to Marina that she's going to sit, and grins at her. She immediately opens one of her books, and beginning to read. Pretty quickly after opening it, she starts to grumble under her breath. "What a jerk... No, no! Don't do that! Imbecile!!!" She slams the book shut, takes a few breaths, and starts back up where she left off.

Eva snickers at something she reads, then gasps. "You've got to be kidding me!" She closes the book again, and glares at the sky. "You can't kiss him, he's an idiot! He's going to back-stab you, and then where will you be?" She realizes she's being loud, and shuts up, embarrassed, but still furious. "Sorry. On one hand, I only ever yell at good books, but on the other hand, that means I can't ever read them in front of anyone." She sends Marina a sheepish grin.

Marina looked up "oh it's fine, I normally yell when there is someone in the book trying to kill the main or there is something bad about to happen" she said.
Maraia walked into Josh and yelped, about to fall
“I...” Maraia said, completely losing speech
“It’s okay.” Maraia said, staring at him
“I’m Maraia Ladira.
What’s your name?” Maraia asked
What’s your name?” Maraia asked
“You too.” Maraia said, smiling softly
Maraia shuffled her feet nervously
((I personally think Josh and Maraia should have “it.” You?))

((I think they should.))
“I think you’re cute.” Maraia said
“I think you’re cute.” Maraia said

“Do you want to go to your dorm?” Maraia asked
Maraia slipped her hand into his and smiled

Neima was on a bench in the shade, watching the new boy. She was smiling. She jumped up fast and walked over to the boy. She reached out her hand. “Hello! I’m Neima! Welcome to the school!”

No one ever surprised him. This situation was really taking its toll on him.
Vie slowly turned around, making sure that it wasn't some sick hallucination, but there she was, a girl with rather unusual blue hair, smiling as if to welcome him. When Vie ventured alone, he found out that no welcome, no matter how kind-hearted it seemed, was free. However, the girl in front of him didn't seem to be hiding anything. Vie took a risk and accepted her hand, twitching ever so slightly at the contact.
"Hi. O-oh, you startled me. I'm just a bit jittery recently," he said, taking a glance at her wings, "You must be amazing at flying. My name's Vie. What's yours?

Her grin got even wider. She shrugged, hearing his words. “It’s totally fine! It’s nice to meet you!” She shifted her wings after hearing his compliment. Her pinks became a little pink. “I uh, I guess. I like to fly a lot so…” she looked away for a few seconds then looked back at the boys face. A thought came to mind. “So, would you like a tour of the school? I’ve been here a while so I know my way around!”

Starting to smile, Vie replied, "Sure! This is all rather confusing to me. I don't even know where my first class is supposed to be held."

"Yeah," Vie started, musing on all the classes he'd be taking, "my classes don't start until tomorrow, and I haven't memorized them all. I do know I have science first."
