Can anyone help me figure out a book a patron is looking for? I'm including plot points below
-fiction
-takes places in medieval times
-a thief goes to a palace to steal but is trapped by magic
-there is a black cat who turns into a woman, teaches him magic and releases him from the palace. Centuries have passed.
-The thief is now able to time travel and magically transport himself
