I agree that #1 & 3 don't look to be a series - not sure about #2.

If other librarians agree number 2 is not a series as well, I would suggest changing the folder to the looking for a project & change your title to something like "Could these "series" be changed into a list then deleted?"

Definitely an imprint. I would have thought that there would already be a list for Time Life books but I can't find one. If anyone else finds an existing list (or a similar list with these books on it) I'll be happy to delete this.

As far as #2 goes, I haven't been able to get an answer. If I don't get an answer in the next couple of days I will delete it but not make a list as there are only 5 books & the creator can make a list themselves if they choose.

Sorry I'm chipping away at another wrongly created series & the books themselves also have issues. :)

If I was you, I would put each example in a separate post. That way one librarian can work on a series without feeling they should do the other.

Your first example doesn't look like a series to me, the second one to me looks like it could be a series. I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable deleting it.

I'm going to post in the "is this series" thread linking to this thread & see if librarians that are better with non fiction series than I am would like to give an opinion.

I'm not an expert, but I lean toward "yes, as a non-fiction series" for both in #10, the latter more than the former. Also, the former should probably have the sort-by-number box checked.

I'm not certain enough, however, to actually work on them; just adding a voice to the mix so it doesn't look ignored.

Because I felt sure most of them weren't a series, I only asked a librarian whose opinion I respect if 10.2 was a series. She gave it a tepid yes, but felt it should be split into an Old Testament Series & a New Testament Series. & she wasn't keen on the present numbering. She doesn't have time to do it herself though.

I'm only intending to do #1.2 & #7 though.

For those that like doing lists though - the covers on #3 (message 2) are so pretty! Is there a taker?

Sorry cfy, I was having a senior moment about this one. If these translations were ever separated against policy, they aren't now.

This should have been the easiest series delete to get done!
