Our author for June is Germaine de Staël-Holstein Germaine de Staël-Holstein , one of the most influential women of her era.
Her life was as varied and interesting as her written works.

Thank you for letting us know. I read De l'Allemagne, tome 1 a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. I haven't read any of her fiction.

Gilbert I read a biography and her novel “Delphine”. I have “Corrine” as a future read. Madam de Stahl was quite an amazing mind of her time, coming from extremely connected parents. And knowing many of the intelligencia of her day.

I hope I have time to read some more of her works, since I really enjoyed De l'Allemagne.
