25.9 - Brooke TX's Task: Notes From an Elder Millennial

For this challenge, you must choose an option and read a book 1 and a book 2 for that option.
One of your books may have a main page genre of Comics/Sequential Art/Graphic Novel/Manga.
Required: State the option.

OPTION A: The Era
Book 1: Read a book first published between 1981 and 1996, inclusive.
Book 2: Read a book by an author born between 1981 and 1996 inclusive.
Required: If this information is not included on the author's GR page, please include a link to establish their year of birth.

OPTION B: Generation Y/Generation Me
Book 1: Read a book where a word in the title or the author's first or last name begins with a Y. Subtitles are excluded.
Book 2: Read a book with the word "ME" found intact in the title or subtitle.

Option C: Digital Natives & Chronically Single
Book 1: Read a book from this list of Computers in Literature.
Required: Include which page your book can be found on when posting.
Book 2: Read a book from one of the following lists: The Bonafide Spinster List or The Bonafide Bachelor List.
Required: Include the name of the list and which page your book can be found on when posting.

Yes! Word doesn't have to match exactly, just have "ME" consecutively, standing alone or enclosed in one word. So Dare Me would work, but also The Game of Kings.

I found that difficult as well, but there were several I was able to track down on various sites for authors whose books I own

Angie Thomas - 1988
Brit Bennett - site said 1989-90
Brandon Taylor - 1989
Julia Phillips - 1989
Fredrik Backman - 1981
Yaa Gyasi - 1989
Sally Rooney - 1991

I am bookmarking Fantastic Fiction as it looks like it would be helpful for many other kinds of prompts.

Please verify 1987 as year of birth for Katherine Arden. It's not on her GR profile or FantasticFiction and I'm worried it will be removed from the Wikipedia article I just linked before I get a chance to finish the book.

Currently her birth date is on the results page when you Google her name. If for some reason that changes before you post, I've included a screenshot here for you to refer to.

This is a similar one to Aprilleigh's - Nino Cipri has no author birthdate on GR, but it does come up if you search on Google.
