June 2021: The Ultimate Emojis Reading Challenge
Challenge Runtime: June 1st- June 30th.
Type: Individual
1. There are 4 SETS of Emojis(check below) each having 11 emojis.
2. The participant will have to select 1 SET which they'll like to complete under this challenge.
3. Each week, starting June 1, a Bonus Emoji will be given to each participant. The book following the Bonus Emoji Prompt will have to be completed within a week and the participant will have to log the book read under a common Check in Thread . Each Bonus Emoji on completion within time, will score 10 points to the participant and if completed later, will score 5 points.
So, first Bonus Emoji would have to completed by June 7th PST, and so on.
4. One book can follow only one emoji prompt, and no more than 3 books can be read under 1 emoji.
5. Read as many books as you can under this challenge, and score points!
6. In case you complete your chosen SET before month end, you will be allowed to choose another for the rest of the challenge.
Scoring:-
Emoji Prompt: 4 points.
Bonus Emoji Prompt: 10 points (on completion within a week); 5 points (on late completion)
Review: 2 points extra.
Page Count Scoring: For every book above 300 pages-
301-400: 2 points
401-500: 3 points
501-600: 4 points
601-700: 5 points
701 and above: 7 points

2. 😂- Re-read a book which made you laugh so hard/Read a book where one of the characters laughs easily.
3. 🤓- A book with a character who is very smart/A nonfiction book.
4. 👩🍳/🧑🍳/👨🍳- A book where the main character is a cook/A book where one of the characters run a restaurant.
5. ❤️: A book with college romance (without marriage) as theme.
6. 1️⃣ 2️⃣ 3️⃣ 4️⃣ 5️⃣: A book which is “the number” in series or title/ Has at least two of “the numbers” in page count
7. 👜: A handbag/bag on the cover/spine; The MC who likes to carry many things with them; The MC who carries all their secrets and important items with them so they don't get discovered.
8. 🏅:A book where the main character is on a winning sports team/A book with the words ‘winning’ or ‘gold’ in the title/A book about a large competition.
9. 🧗: A book where the main character has to preserve through a large challenge/A book where the setting is within mountains/A book where the main character climbs in their status within their world.
10. 🥋: A book where the title has something to do with the word ‘fighting’ or such variations/A book where the main character is fighting a disease.
11. 🐺 - Read a book where a significant character can turn into an animal.
