Starting this now, the names are making no sense and I really hope there's a good recap otherwise I'll be real lost the whole time

Least this book seems to be holding my attention!

Prologue (view spoiler)[Well damn that jumped in! I keep thinking I'm not in a YA fantasy mood, but then I read YA and love it :D I like the addition of Leyre, and how she's going to find Castian under blackmail. Castian's the prince who killed his brother, for what reason again? Does he have powers? And her original love interest was thought to be dead but he's an Illusionari correct? (hide spoiler)]

Why did she leave the rebels for Castian? And I thought they were in a relationship? How long was she there for, how was he her only friend and best friend? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 2 (view spoiler)[I'm getting these plot twists all over again XD Des is Andres, who I'm assuming is the prince? I thought Castian was ordered to kill him at a young age? Or was that an illusion to let him escape. Aly I need you XD

And how did Castian know her as children? OHHHH she was brought up there right?? And then she escaped somehow? That just came back to me! (hide spoiler)]

So I finished XD I loved this!

Ren and Dez (view spoiler)[gosh damn I'm happy she wasn't pregnant! Or she was, but it didn't come to anything. The description of her getting her period was a nice relief, but it did bug me that she didn't get any other period symptoms. (hide spoiler)]

Epilogue (view spoiler)[I loved the way they had children around 30! Nice and late for a novel <3 And that Nuria and Dez found love while making that alliance, I love their found family. (hide spoiler)]

I loved this conclusion, it was amazing! I never really felt lost either.

Chapter 6 (view spoiler)[ I don't like that Castian's brother is running from them. He just abandoned his friends and group and it's frustrating.

I'm sorry I let you down lol (view spoiler)[ Castian was framed to appear like he drowned Andres but really he was taken away by the rebels.
Cas was Ren's friend, but her memory was muddled and she thought it was Des instead. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 18 (view spoiler)[ Ren and Cas keep having these almost moments, I just need them to get together! They both have feelings they need to admit.
I'm happy Leo is with them, I really like him (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 27 (view spoiler)[ She's able to get the memories out and now Des returns to be a dick. The rebels are led by a power hungry, evil man and they just blindly follow. (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[ I'm glad Des came back and married Nuria. They seemed like a good couple. And I'm very happy that Castian went with Ren to journey and sail and heal. Definitely a cute ending (hide spoiler)]
