So, I had a hard time going to bed last night because I was so creeped out by this book. But, it is so good. And like L and S said on the podcast, I did feel so strange knowing that I was getting turned on by it. I think only and amazing author could get people hot and bothered by something so disturbing!

Allison Donovan | 1 comments Oh man, the confusion I suffered over my arousal reading this book... I've had very strange stalker dreams over the last week. What a great book! Can't wait for the next book.

message 3: by Nikki (new)

Nikki | 1 comments I didn't find it hot, but...I did like the guy. And that bothered me a lot.

message 4: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1 comments I finished the book yesterday (audio). I just pulled into work with about ten min left...I had to sit for another ten or so to recover. That was really rough.

message 5: by Emily (new)

Emily Ninotta | 2 comments Wait--was the title actually We Need to Talk? I didn't catch the title while listening this week--just the premise. (Multitasking getting ready for work and podcasting ;-) )

message 6: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa | 2 comments I finished the audio book on my way home from work today. WTF I don't know what to think of it all. I loved but man what a trip.

message 7: by Sonia (new)

Sonia Ward | 7 comments Oh man I'm right smack in the middle of it- I can't wait to curl up in bed tonight and read! So I'm at chapter 26 and I'm convinced we are going to discover that beck is a total freak just like Benji implied

message 8: by Susan (new)

Susan (susanmariec) | 1 comments Made me want to delete all of my social media accounts! So creepy to realize how easy it would be for someone to find out a lot about you without you really realizing it.

Enjoyed the book, impressed by the writing, and totally creeped out!

Emily, the book is not called that, that was just how I was feeling after I read it. I needed to talk to someone about it! Lol

Who read it, and who listened to it? I read it, but I think it would have been better if I had listened to it like Lynette did. The voice in my head was definitely not as sexy as the guy that read the audiobook, and I think it would have added another element to the story actually hearing it be told.

It was so strange how, even though tthe things he was doing were psycho, the way it was written you (at least I) caught myself thinking, well, that's not too strange. Even though I knew what he was doing was totally twisted!

message 12: by Sandy (new)

Sandy Ruminski | 1 comments I loved listening to the book-the narrator was excellent ! Loved the psycho character-I hate to say I actually grew to like him. Intriguing story !

message 13: by Emily (new)

Emily Ninotta | 2 comments Haha--so what IS the title?

message 14: by Sonia (new)

Sonia Ward | 7 comments I just finished the book- last night I went to bed and dreamed about it. Oh man no kidding about the social media aspect! I can totally see this being made into a movie. Can't wait to hear the author on FCOL. So next book is the yoga pants one?
So I do wish that we could have heard a little more detail on what happen after the woods., dr. Nicky and all.

message 15: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa | 2 comments I listened to it Nadia. I have a long commute to work and I wanted to get it finished before the author came on the show.

message 16: by Leche (new)

Leche Shitlesworth | 3 comments The title is You by Caroline Kepnis.

Ilene Bennett | 1 comments So so so good!! Not done just yet! But cant wait to see how it ends :)

Sonia-- I agree abut having more details about Dr Nicky at the end. All I could think about was DNA evidence! There had to be a ton of Joe's DNA all over the place. Hahaha

But did you guys see that she is coming out with another book later this year? I can't wait to see what that one will be like! I definitely think it will need to be a future book for our club.

Exactly - he had sex with her and he was all over her

message 22: by Dani (new)

Dani | 2 comments I can't wait until Sept and for the sequel for this book! I listened to it, as I do for almost all of my "reading" and I restarted it 2 days after I finished it.

I loved it so much. It was well written, funny, sexy, creepy all great things! I loved looking into the mind of a stalker and to see how he interpreted all her actions and twisted them to fit his narrative.

Now I just feel like I'm coming off of a high looking for my next fix, I need another good book!

message 23: by Lauralei (new)

Lauralei Schmidling | 1 comments Just finished! I too am a little worried that I sometimes rooted for Joe. Such a good story!

message 24: by Angie (new)

Angie Osborne | 7 comments im in the middle now and cant help rooting for joe, feeling sorry for him, I must be crazy.

message 26: by Tracy (new)

Tracy Dineen | 4 comments Some one said the guy who narrated it does a voice on Frozen... weird. I loved his voice ! Loved the book !

We'll I'm crazy right along with you! I was hoping for a "happy" twisted ending where they would live happily (sickly) ever after! :)

message 28: by Angie (new)

Angie Osborne | 7 comments tracy, me too. If she would have just let the box in the wall go it they would have lived happily ever after ;)

I don't think it is possible not to want a happy ending. It is amazing how much he makes you think that she is the crazy one, and he does a really good job at it. But, then you sit back and think, yeah, she is a little wacky, but not too over the top.

message 31: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 2 comments I am on my 3rd book since reading You. But I cannot seem to get Joe out of my head. I keep adding him into whatever current book I am reading, convinced that he could fit right into that storyline. Anyone else having a hard letting You go?

message 32: by Holly (new)

Holly Krivjansky | 1 comments Me too. Looking for recommendations.
