SOS: Serious Overload of Series discussion

Let me first preface this challenge by saying that I created this challenge on 29 December 2019. We were all living in a different world then and I thought the 2020 games in Tokyo would be just another “regular” Olympic season. That hasn’t been the case. To this day, days away from the start of the games, there’s still controversy surrounding it. Nevertheless, I thought members may still enjoy an Olympic reading challenge. So, I’m sharing it here.
