Well once it's lifted go get some! I recently tried broccoli in mac and cheese and I didn't hate it. I usually like it sautéed with hot peppers and such. Just because I love all things spicy.

We came out of lockdown in Feb...and then the second wave hit :(
It has!! Idk how I would have passed this time without my books... The lockdown came again in April I think..the lockdown is slowly releasing right now but there are very high chances of Third wave of Covid in about 6-8 weeks...so we might have to go under lockdown again :((

Another update here! Just wanted to let you all know that I've changed the requirement for the product tasks from 5 people/books to complete it to 3 people/books to complete the product. This decision was based on the amount of people per team and the amount of tasks for the challenge itself.

IKR!! We have already lost soo many loved ones and I honestly dont think we can afford to lose any one else..

But , I read somewhere that children roughly between 12 and 20 , are at higher risk of contracting Covid in the third wave in India which means that our parents and grandparents would be safe. That is a huge relief!!

I know in America the younger people have been hit harder recently, too. It's been such a tragedy across the world. Thankfully, it is finally getting better! I hope India doesn't get a third wave but if it does hopefully it won't be a bad wave!

I signed up for the Bonus Sweep and will read for good point with a total of 10.

I also signed up to read off the list so starting with Produce. I hope that's okay or do we want to plan out which tabs to read for first?

One doubt...Do we just start reading anywhere?

Or are there a few specific tasks that we have to do?

So far, we just read for whatever (the best I can tell) except the bonus question we want to get both those books read.

this is the best I can get form the rules:
"For the big sweep, you will hypothetically be running throughout the supermarket and grabbing products from the shelves. The goal is to make the most money during this. Each product will have a task assigned to it and you will need to complete this before putting it in your cart"

SO it sounds like we just want to complete sets to get the most $$ but I don't know if that means we should do something like laundry soap over corn since one is definitely more expensive. I'm just not sure

My only vote is that IF YOU TAKE A TASK, please try to update a read date WITHIN THE WEEK you claimed it.

I hate when we have a full spreadsheet with NO completion dates - this blocks anyone else from being able to claim the task and have it done.

I don't plan on taking/claiming any task until I am done with the book. . .

But won't it be a bit better if we 'claim' (is that correct?) that task so that another person may not do the same task in the mean time by mistake?

I think many books will fit many tasks. and we can bounce them around (there are so many tabs). Luckily, we won't be stuck on one sheet if we're waiting for others to complete tasks before we move on.

It's up to the team but I've found that often, it will seems like we have a whole spreadsheet filled with tasks and then a lot of them don't get done and we end up zero points because no one put a book in there and the original person doesn't complete it. It's really limiting when we're stuck week to week.

As far as I can tell, the front tasks don't have a due date but I'm not 100% sure and I'd hate to lose tasks/points if I take the task and don't get it done in the week it's needed.
