Anyone else interested in Aliens: Fireteam Elite out in August?
Im interested in Aliens Fireteam unless its one of those 4 player coop games. If that´s the case i have near zero interest.
If its a single player game then hell yeah!
Diablo 2 is also in my radar.
I would love to revisit that game with modern graphics.

It looks a bit like the Zombie Army games to me which I love.

The new Dead Space whatever it is. Remaster, remake, reboot, sequel, re-imagining....no-one knows! Is it even happening? Very strong rumours - we will find out at EA's event in July :)

I'm fascinated with the internet conjuring a huge conspiracy theory about an indie developer secretly being Kojima productions working on a new Silent Hill.
The games I'm excited for:
12 Minutes (August 19th)
Back 4 Blood (12th October)
Battlefield 2042 (October 15th)
Forza Horizon 5 (November 9th)
Halo Infinite
Stalker 2 (April 28th 2022)
Somerville
Far Cry 6 (October 7th)
This is why this holiday is the first holiday in years - for me at least - where there are more new release games than I can handle.

A new RoboCop FPS in the works for 2023 based on the original films (hopefully not much the 3rd one).
I'd buy that for a dollar!

I know we're mostly home console gamers on here but anyone interested in the new Steam Deck?

Nintendo Switch like but for PC games. I like the look of it but don't have the need for one - I only play games on the TV screen.

I very interested.
I still have a ton of games in my steam account and it would be great to revisit that old backlog without having to buy a new rig.

Looks pretty good to me and is completely open hardware. You can even put windows on it - in fact, any OS you want. Reason that appeals - strangely - as it might be possible to have a proper Games Pass handheld. I'll wait to see if this is a possibility. I have zero games on Steam but an Xbox handheld might appeal.
No one interested in the Dead Space remake then? Not my cup of tea but thought we had Dead Space fans on here.
I'm interested in the new game but cam already see the EA influence. Hopefully the live action stuff isn't as cringy as in the NFS games. Also hope there isn't a trophy for driving 24900 miles this time.

I'm interested!! Hope it's just slicked-up and not drastically changed. I appreciate wholsesale changes were made to Resi 2 & 3 but the control schemes etc in those games would feel ANCIENT nowadays, but Dead Space would still be more than playable - just make the remake shinier.
Would have preferred a Nathan Drake Collection/ME Legendary Edition style remaster of the trilogy though.
Definitely the next PS4/5 game I want to play:

Not sure if I can justify getting a PS5 to play it so it will have to be on PS4 Pro.

Quake Remastered coming...today.
PC and consoles.
I last played this on the N64.

I may well do, especially as its sensibly priced at only £8. Might just cast my eye over the trophy list first ;)

Anyone watch the Sony thing tonight. It was awful but saved a bit at the end with news Insomniac are working on Spider-man 2 and a Wolverine game.
GoW Ragnarok mentioned too but no date.
Still no reason for me to get a PS5 yet though. Not that I could if I wanted to.

I watched it. For me there wasn't a lot. Although God of War looks excellent as you would expect so that has me excited. Otherwise - yea not too fussed about an Uncharted remastered collection (just read this is actually only U4 and Legacy so too recent for another purchase) - I feel they are so recent, and still look good that I don't feel the need to replay them anytime soon. The Old Republic I never played it the first time so have no hype for it - but I will keep an eye out for whether it appeals as more is revealed. The Tiny Tina game looked interesting but I expect that will come to Xbox too - and I started to lose interest in Borderlands games after 2. I'm not into comic book games and wasn't that impressed by the first spiderman (it was good but nothing amazing especially campaign wise) and so Spiderman 2 has no appeal and Wolvervine I'll wait to see more (but again comic book stuff generally doesn't float my boat except for maybe Batman). And GT7 - never liked a GT game so don't expect that will change. So all in all not a great showcase for my taste in gaming. I am excited for the Cat game lol - that looks great. So far only the cat game and Ragnarok are games I want to play. I'll wait for the P5 Slim too most likely.
Alan Wake however I will get but on Xbox. It doesn't look graphically that much improved but I enjoyed it so much when I played it 10 years ago that I'll defo play it again and for £25 very reasonable. Plus it includes the DLC and I remember that being very good too.

Anything exciting ?
There wasnt much there but im excited for Spiderman and resi 4 VR

The main reason I've been holding off Resi 4 was waiting to hear what the vr content was. Pretty happy it's the full game and not some tacked on mode

Also weird there is a collection of of the original game along with a remake
I watched it. Not much for me. However, MGS3, Alan Wake 2 and Assassins Creed Mirage I’m excited for. Everything else although some of it look graphically very good wasn’t my bag. Marathon and Teardown caught my attention but need to know more. Considering most games were cross platform quite a disappointing showcase. Spider-Man looked good but again I played 1 and Miles Morales which were graphically impressive but were pretty run of the mill otherwise.
Anyone interested in System Shock Remake?
Its getting some pretty good reviews but so far i have only seen them on PC and its not listed in either Ps5 or Xbox.
Does anyone know when its launching for consoles?

Clive Barker 'involved' and Doug Bradley reprising his role as Pinhead for the first time in 20 years. Saber Interactive making it with Unreal 5. Looks a decent horror game and I sure love the Hellraiser franchise. No rd yet but there's a fair bit of gameplay in the trailer so suggests it's quite far along.
