I’ve actually read this book long ago and I just loved the combination of classic princesses and sci-fi. The way the series takes inspiration from the plotlines of the classic princess and cleverly integrate them in a common sci-fi main plot is just amazing. I specially enjoyed seeing the ‘princesses’ we grew up to see as damsel-in-distress take center stage in action-filled scenes and strategically plan together in this dystopian setting. Also, loved how they gave a modern spin to the classic scenes.
I loved the retellings. Cinder was good but not the best of the series. It keeps getting better with every book.
