I'm in a bodice ripper mood so I am reading Lions and Lace by Meagan McKinney, and tomorrow I will start Sonali Dev's book...

Stacey (staceyissassy) I just finished the audiobook of Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell which I really enjoyed but I had no idea it was unfinished. Luckily it was mostly finished. ;-)

I also just finished reading Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne and I LOVED it.

This week I'm reading an ARC of Waylaid by Sarina Bowen that I'm enjoying so far.

I'm listening to House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Mass. So far I'm still a little lost but it's definitely had my heart pumping.

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments I'm pleasantly surprised by A Duke in Time. I haven't had much success with Janna Macgregor's books before; however, this is much better than previous ones. Since it's the first in a series, I'm now looking forward to the next two!

Let me know what you think about SJM House of Earth and Blood when you finish up. I've picked it up and put it down a few times.

Honestly, I'm still mostly lost. It really doesn't have the same draw as her other books, does it?

Stacey, it doesn't. I can't get into it. I rarely DNF a book, and I'm afraid that's what's gonna happen with this one
:(

I read it and enjoyed it but the struggle is real with the pacing, the logic, the amount of random information thrown at you haha. It was almost like a hate read haha

I haven't had a lot of time to dedicate to it so that could be my problem too. Hopefully, I'll have a bit more time and it will be all good. :-)
