Yes the two I've read are fun with witty dialogue and humorous situations. Funny in an understated way. However, I must admit, that I thought they would be more over the top slapstick style funny since Chevy Chase played Fetch in the movies. Not that I have actually watched any of the films though.

Here are my June reads:
Top Reads
American by Day - Derek B. Miller
Not quite as good as Norwegian by Night but still a very compelling audio. Ingrid, a police chief in Norway, is asked by her father to travel to America because her brother is missing and she must navigate the very different American culture and legal system to save him. Great characters, plot, and some humor. Listened to the audio version which was narrated by Sean Mangan who was fine but not a narrator I would seek out.
Potshot - Gerry Boyle
Part of the Jack McMorrow series and another entertaining entry. Jack is a freelance journalist in Maine and he decides that the local legalize pot types would make a good story.
Boom Town: The Fantastical Saga of Oklahoma City, Its Chaotic Founding, Its Apocalyptic Weather, Its Purloined Basketball Team, and the Dream of Becoming a World-class Metropolis - Sam Anderson
A well written mix of The OKC Thunder story the season of the James Harden trade and the history of Oklahoma City. Listened to the audio version which was read by the author and he did a passable job.
Good Reads
The Defense - Steve Cavanagh
Debut legal thriller that starts off with a bang and the action never falters. I did enjoy the main character though the plot got a bit too out there for me. Listened to the audio version which was narrated by Adam Sims who did an adequate job.
Confess, Fletch - Gregory McDonald
Second entry in the Fletch series that also introduces Inspector Flynn (who has his own series of four books), this had an engaging caper like plot and the competent narration by Dan John Miller made it an enjoyable listen.
