Participate in a book-related Goodreads, Facebook, or other social media group (not Dewey’s).

Yep, this is NOT a 'read a book' prompt. There are a LOT of really great bookish groups online, including other readathon groups, book clubs of all sorts, groups devoted to particular series, etc. During this challenge, check in with groups you've already joined, or browse the available groups on Goodreads, Facebook, or elsewhere online. All these groups thrive on active members, and now is a great time to support them by participating.
What groups are you involved with? Which do you recommend? What sort of bookish group(s) would you love to join?

Leni Iversen (leniverse) | 566 comments I am guilty of being a member of way more groups than I am active in. I admit that I use a lot of groups just for adding interesting books to my TBR. But I also had to dial back my involvement because I tried to join in too many group reads at once and do too many challenges.

Right now I'm only active in Reading 1001, and I do a Bingo challenge in Catching Up On Classics (and lots more!). I was going to use the monthly read+discuss in Reading 1001 to get prompt 3 and 5 in one go, but I will challenge myself to interact a bit more with some of my other groups. Especially the Classics one.

Susy (susysstories) | 2288 comments I participate in a lot of readathon related Twitter and Discord groups.
And I’m active in a couple of GR groups.
Yes, way too many cause I want to participate in all of their buddy/group reads and challenges which is just impossible lol

Newly Wardell | 154 comments Well I'm not as active in my groups because I'm constantly outvoted and it translates to me getting bummed and feeling ignored, But the worst is when a group just disappears. There was this outstanding sci-fi group then nothing. I wish there was a way to high five the mods of a particular group. It cant be easy.

This one is easy. I belong to several group on Goodreads for book stuff. And I mod the facebook Dewey group and am a mod here. SO I'm doing this almost daily. - COMPLETED

I am a member of a few active Goodreads groups that I enjoy when I remember them. I really need to update my Mount TBR progress, and Virtual Mount TBR of course. I also really ought to poke at my own book club group, which has been languishing for quite a while. I am always active in Reading 1001, so I am not counting that one for this prompt, but for the fact that I am 'a member' of 33 groups, I only seem to actively participate in maybe 4, and I am a moderator in 2 of those. :)
