Personality: Sophie is quiet, and very smart with words. If she isn't being shy, she can be a bit of a flirt.

History/story: Sophie was born far in the south and lived a life of poverty as a 6. She worked as a seamstress for a family of Twos who lived at least an hour away from where she lived. It cost her nearly all of her daily earnings to get her a ride to and from the Two's residence everyday. The rest of the money was given to her family for the things they needed. One day, her parents confronted her and told her that her job was far to expensive. They needed the money she was using for their family, which Sophie understood, but if she quit her job, she would have to stop being a seamstress and work as housekeeper with her mother. She despised the idea of quitting her job, considering she was doing what she loved. She decided to offer to be a maid and seamstress for the palace and was soon moved to the castle.

Talents and abilities: Sophie is a very gifted and talented seamstress. She is insanely creative and can turn a scrap piece of fabric into something beautiful.

History/story: Killian grew up as an eight in a family of five and as so being able to send the paychecks a guard gets is vital for his family.

Caste: Aiden was a 5 but when he was picked for the draft he became a 2

Appearance: Aiden is tall, with blonde hair and brown eyes. He has scars on his hands and back from previous accidents/his time as a guard. He has a small tattoo of a compass on his collar bone as a reminder of his dad.

Personality: Aiden grew up in a tough situation, leading him to often cover his emotions with humor or cockiness. On the inside, he can be really kind and sweet, but often doesn’t let people in to see the true him.

History/story: Aiden lived with his parents and four siblings (all his siblings are younger than him) money was tight, however, they got through the hard times together. Aiden’s mom was a six and was (and still is) a cook before marrying Aiden’s father (a painter and a five) When Aiden was 16, his father passed away unexpectedly leaving Aiden to be the ‘man of the house’ he was quick to put his family’s needs in front of his wants, leading to him maturing much faster than others his age.

History/story: Grew up in a decent size house with three siblings, two brothers and a sister. He helped his parents with their businesses. His mom owns a spa and his dad owns a furniture store. He used to work for them without pay and he would live at home. When he got drafted, he was excited because he never really felt in place where he lived. Now he has a purpose, and he loves his job. He also gets to send home extra money for his family.
Family: lived with both parents, and has three siblings: two brothers and a sister.
Talents and Abilities: can play the guitar, drums, and sing really well. Can also cook well. He is kind, loyal, generous and friendly, but hates sharing his secrets and has trouble trusting people easily. He can speak English, Spanish, Chinese and French. But can only write English and Spanish.

Personality: Kyle is very much a flirt. While he is very loyal to the throne, he can not resist a beautiful woman. He is very kind and considerate of others, and is very loyal. At times he can be mischievous, but he is usually mature and funny.

History/story: Kyle was born in at the castle. His father works as a guard general and his mother is a personal maid for the queen. He was raised to be a gentleman and started training to be a guard at age 10. He trained in hand-to-hand combat until he was 12, then began to train with the older guards. He was made an official guard at the very young age of 14.

History/story: Grew up taking care of his siblings while his parents worked. They were fives, and had to work hard to make enough money to take care of him and his four siblings. He also had to take care of the animals, horses, cows and chickens. His siblings helped sometimes but they were a lot younger than him.

Personality: Why this girl isn't a princess, I don't know? Amalie is very confident, but she is humble about it. She knows she is beautiful and uses her good looks to flirt with all the guards. She is very generous and typically considerate.

History/story: Amalie had a very hard childhood. She grew up as a Seven, just south of the palace. Her parents were abusive to her and her siblings, making it a very difficult environment to grow up in. Being the oldest of seven total kids, she was beaten the most. Her parents quit their jobs once she was old enough to work, leaving everything up to Amalie. She had to feed nine mouths every night. She argued constantly with her parents about money and food. Amalie refused to give them the food she earned, and she made sure all of her siblings had food in their stomachs. She would go hungry most nights, but she was okay with it so all long as her brothers and sisters were satisfied. One day, after a violent fight with her parents, she said she was better off just working for the palace, so her mom and dad shipped her off to work at the castle, even though it forced them to work again.

Personality: sweet, caring, kind, thoughtful, trustworthy, and usually cries when he gets upset instead of getting super mad, but not in front of other people unless he’s really close to them.
History/story: grew up in a small house with two siblings, worked at his parents restaurant and was on a cross country running team, a track team, and occasionally played football.
Family: lived with his two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister. He also lived with both of his parents and sometimes snuck out to parties at night.
Talents and abilities: amazing cook, really good at running and managing events, and can play the piano, guitar and drums.
Likes: little kids, running, cooking, working out, sleeping, parties, racing, and animals.
Dislikes: Skunks, spicy food, horseback riding even though he likes horses, climbing trees, and singing in front of other people.

History/story: Mariah was born and raised in the castle. Her mother was a palace maid, and her father was a wealthy man who was a friend of the king. He and her mother had a very intense affair, which led to the birth of Mariah. Since then, her parents have lost touch for the most part, but her father will still send the occasional letter, promising that someday he will find them and make things right. Mariah was raised in the palace to become a maid like her mother, but she was easily distracted my the many handsome guards.

Personality: Frey was drafted at 17, and decided to stay as a guard even after his enlistment time was over. He appears young, but in reality he is much older. The male can be seen as the 'silent but deadly' type and enjoys peace and quiet as well as a calm aura.
History/story:
Growing up, Frey was a six, his parents were both housekeepers until his dad fell ill with the mumps, something he would have been able to fight had he of been able to access the vaccine. It is written, plain and clear, the sixth caste is one of the worst casts.

Personality: This boy is a literal cinnamon roll. He is sweet, funny, charming, and is an amazing cook, but he has trust issues and doesn't have many friends.

History/story: He and his family were welcomed to the castle when he was a young boy. He spent most of his time helping in the kitchen as a young boy, and then became a server when he was about thirteen. By the time he was sixteen, he was actually cooking meals.

At some point during his time in the palace, he fell in love. She was one of the maids for the little princess. He instantly fell for her charm and seductive smile. They had a relationship (more like a fling) for about a month before she turned around and broke his heart. Although they were never a real couple, he was still hurt to hear that she had been with several other men while they were together.
Soon after they split up, there was a rebel attack on the palace. They had broke in and killed the girl, along with many others. Mateo found her body and was devisasted, despite her breaking his heart only weeks ago.

Personality: Faye is sweet, similar to her brother, but more quiet. She is fun-loving, and enjoys reading.

History/story: She was still a baby when she moved to the palace. She has grown up here, training to become a maid and server. She has a very generous heart that never fails to make people feel all warm and fuzzy.

She did, though, have to watch her brother endure heartbreak and develop anxiety. She did everything in her power to make him feel better, including reading to him every night until he fell asleep. It pained her to see him suffer, so she tried everything to keep his mind off of his anxieties.
