I’ve really been searching for unknown or under hyped books that star poc (specifically black ppl) as the main characters. doesn’t have to be under hyped/overlooked, open to any and all suggestions/genres.

You should read Nicola Yoon’s novels, most if not all feature black main characters. Even the movies. Hmm and also the Hate You Give and on the Come Up. They both feature black main characters. There is also a series called the Lunar Chronicles. One of the books is called Winter which is a based on a black lunar princess. Pretty cool huh?
