Goodreads Authors/Readers discussion

I have been receiving hate comments on my posts in Goodreads threads and they've gone to the extent of sending me a hate email which I of course rapidly screenshotted. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

My usual choice is to argue with them but that is the stupid path :)

No. I'm sorry this is happening to you. You should report it. I too choose to argue with them to no avail. You can't argue with stupid people. ;) Good luck. I hope everything goes ok.

Yep, I called out their fake reviews, so they then posted fake reviews of my (as yet unreleased!) book and started sending me nastygrams. I've gotten one every day for the past three days.

Just ignore them. Mark them as spam. Flag their posts here on GR. They aren't worth worrying over.

That is terrible,. So sorry it's happening to you. As everyone said, flag and report them.
