What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

NOT the children's book series by Marcel Marlier and Gilbert Delahaye.

The character being named Martine is all I know, sadly. A barista commented to me that one of her favorite novels had a character by my name. I've never seen my name in print (other than the classic French children's books). I can't remember the barista's name and failed to ask for details at the coffee shop, so I'm hoping this group will save the day.

Not the main character, but there is a Martine in What Mrs. McGillicudy Saw! by Agatha Christie

Martine, that's a good start but we need book genre and plot/ more details in the header/ topic title at the top of the page. We have thousands of book requests, so threads with vague headers are closed.
