It will depend on the team honestly. Some people like claiming task when their book is done and other's like claiming what they are going to read. As long as your are all communicating I think it would be find to do whatever the team decides.

Hi Team Alice! Nice to be here. This is actually one of my favorite children's books :) I've read a lot of retellings, mostly in the steampunk genre.

Charlotte, since you put your books on the Round 1 sheet, I removed them from the Banked Books. I believe those are only for books that don't fit the current character that could be used later.

Looks like we have people reading for all the tasks right now except Belle. There are two openings there. I put my book in banked because it doesn't fit any of those tasks that are open. It does have a flower on cover, but that's already covered. When we get a new person opened up, I'll see if any of my banked books work.

i think that you can, because even though we only need 4 tasks to get a new character, it dosen't mean we can't finish all of the tasks

You mean like adding it to the team's spreadsheet and then posting it on your team's review thread? If I don't have the first 4 tasks marked complete you are more than welcome to post your book to be counted for that character.

If the first 4 tasks have been completed you can still add your books to the remaining 4 tasks on the spreadsheet but you can't post them until you get that character again.

So, Alaina, can I look for any tasks for any character that Sense and Sensibility work for in Round One, and post it on the SS and not in banked books?

Yes, if you would like. If your team is okay with moving books around it's okay with me. I typically move books for my own team if someone hasn't even started their book for that claimed space and I just let them know that I moved it to a different character/category.

Makes sense to me. Whatever allows us the most speed and flexibility.
