I set this aside to read something else. I have the audio now so I'm giving it one more try. If it doesn't work, I'm skipping it and moving on, lol.

I did the same..audio was better for me. Give it one more go then move on.

I haven't listened to any of this series yet on audio, so it will be interesting to see the difference. I think when I first started reading it I hadn't even discovered audiobooks yet, lol.

Finished finally! I did skip over a few parts. Victoria and the art gallery thing...did we really need any of that? After the first couple of parts about her I skipped it and don't think I lost anything of the story. Not sure why it was even there.

I love Sola's grandma. She was probably the best part of this story, lol. Assail's cousin's were okay, too.

Overall, okay story. It felt a lot like filler...which it probably was. I LOVE Lassiter. I always have. I hope she doesn't ruin him like she did V.

So glad you got through it. When it comes t go V, they should have talked. He should have also explained his needs to her instead of denying the needs of dominance that he has. So yes he is an ass

Speaking of men being jerks, Tohr is kind of being an ass, too. He’s never been one of my favorites, but in the last two books he’s been getting on my nerves with all his self-pity over losing his first mate (can't even remember her name right now!). I thought he got over all that when he mated Autumn.

Hey guys. Wanted to let you know that for the past several months, I've been taking care of my mom. She fell shortly after my brother passed away and never really got better. She passed away three weeks ago and I just had her service on Sunday. So my reading has taken a back seat with all that and my own health too. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back into reading.
