Zermeena | 344 comments Thanks, Heather! I think I'm going down the rabbit hole with this project, but it will be fun.

I recently finished Within the Sanctuary of Wings which I loved. The audio narrated by Kate Reading is amazing! Now I'm listening to Turning Darkness Into Light. It has different narrators because it tells the story of Isabella's granddaughter.

Two mysteries finished in the last 24 hours:

* The Edge by Dick Francis is a horse racing mystery set on a transcontinental train across Canada.

* Maigret and the Burglar's Wife by Georges Simenon — Classic Parisian mystery. It’s been a long time since I read a book by Simenon, and it’s definitely a faster and easier read in English. I finished this in less than 24 hours.

Finished Far from the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy today. Loved the ending, and it ticks off another Popsugur prompt (Victorian era). Now 27/50 for that one and working on another.

Entertaining. However, it was short on the suspense that is usually in this series.
