The author mixes suspense, mystery, family, friendship, and romance into a heartfelt novel that pulled me in and kept me hooked from beginning to end.

This is a relationship intense paranormal romance blended with a supernatural suspense story line. This one seems to be a set-up book for the next one in the series.

I've read his book The Dismembered which I loved - liking this so far. Excepting lots of supernatural spooks!

Overall, this was suspenseful, but disconcerting for m, e with memorable characters that kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. However, there were times when the pacing felt uneven and the ending was somewhat predictable.

The author has managed to combine horror, mystery, suspense, historical fiction, and the supernatural in a western set in 1914-1915. Overall, this was a compelling, shocking, unique, and dark story that also had some uplifting moments. I always expect to learn something new from a historical fiction novel, and this one delivered. The writing is vivid and atmospheric.

The author has crafted a complex novel of crime and sleuthing with plenty of suspense in his latest standalone novel. Overall, this compelling story grabbed my attention with likeable characters, a harrowing escape, and multiple mysteries. Great characterization, plenty of investigations, some suspenseful moments, and an action-packed ending make this a recommended book.
