Cinderella is Dead
Ch 1-2
- [ ] Hahaha I was so into the story I didn’t realised I had read two chapters at once! The chapters are pretty short
- [ ] But I really liked how this book started, immediately drew me in
- [ ] It’s horrible to think girls are chosen at the ball based on their appearances and then those who aren’t chosen are not seen or heard from again? That is scary!
- [ ] It kinda reminds me of the Hunger Games now
Ch 3
- [ ] Sophia really does need to be careful with what she says out loud
- [ ] I also like how her mother isn’t pretending that everything is going to be alright or things are perfect, at least in private she does share her daughter’s anger and wishes for a better future for her. I really liked that
- [ ] I hate domestic violence in real life and in books, reading about that bruise made me so angry
Ch 4
- [ ] How her mother worries a lot, and she has to. Girls not chosen aren’t being taken where they are suppose to go, all those girls being found dead in the woods, no wonder her mother is desperate to make sure she is chosen the first time
Ch 5
- [ ] Girl power right there! Very glad Sophia decided to help the seamstress even if it is a small thing
- [ ] Also I am curious about this Luke, does he know about her attraction to Erin?
- [ ] Ooo what if he is gay?
Ch 6
- [ ] Yep he’s gay! At least Sophia can now have someone who knows and understands and perhaps can confine with
- [ ] But poor Louis, that’s horrible what his parents did to him
- [ ] This is really good so far

haha yeah they are pretty short, and i'm glad you're enjoying it ;)

so true... i'm really curious what happens to those people who are forfeit, poor things! surely they're not just killed... but where do they go!
and true, it's like THG but all prettied up to make it look nicer :((
Sophia really does need to be careful with what she says out loud
yeah that's one thing... i appreciate that Sophia is forward-thinking and brave and determined to escape, but she really needs to be careful, because she could so easily be forfeit and that would be a disaster!! she needs to be much more careful, Erin and her mother are right... it's a dangerous world, and that's definitely not right, but it is what she has to deal with, and running her mouth is dangerous.
I also like how her mother isn’t pretending that everything is going to be alright or things are perfect, at least in private she does share her daughter’s anger and wishes for a better future for her. I really liked that
yeah i actually do like her mother, she knows the world isn't perfect (or anywhere close to) but she just wants the best for her daughter. i look forward to seeing what happens next with the mum and Sophia, i think it would be amazing for the mum and seamstress and everyone else to live in a free world! they wouldn't know what to do with themselves hehe.
I hate domestic violence in real life and in books, reading about that bruise made me so angry
same :(( it's so disgusting and cruel.
Yep he’s gay! At least Sophia can now have someone who knows and understands and perhaps can confine with
yep, you guessed it (as always ;))! and yeah, i hope Sophia can find a friend in him, he seems like a sweetheart. poor Louis though :((
can't wait to see what happens next and where this story goes! i'll hopefully read the next set sometime in the next couple days :))
