Welcome to the Reverse RAT! I hope everyone's as excited as I am! For Hour 1 I wanted to discuss what book is your most anticipated or you're most excited to read during the readathon.

Mine is probably The Therapist by B.A. Paris which I hope to finish during the RAT, if it's one I'll start during the readathon then probably The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams which I hope to have time to read at least some of, though I usually focus on audiobooks.

I always read a book by Neil Gaiman, a tradition. This time Fortunately, the Milk. I will be listening to the audiobook read by Neil Gaiman, following along in the book to see the illustrations. Sounds like a treat to have after a nap.

I've never read one of his books! Enjoy it!

Jennifer | 80 comments I am looking forward to The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon. As an NPR fan, I figure I will enjoy it, and a daughter of mine recommended it.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 1435 comments Oh, oops. Missed one amongst all the social media for these updates

Um, I am not sure. Have so many great books looking forward to right now. I'll go ahead and choose this classic because I just ordered it and it's the second in the series by Erle Stanley Gardner of Perry Mason fame (cannot find the first book reasonably priced anywhere)
The Knife Slipped = Hard Case Crime republished this one so I was able to get it reasonably priced.

I have a lot of random murder mysteries I picked up from library free-books shelves, and some of those look pretty good. Every once in a while I find another series I really like by sampling the ones from those shelves. :)

CC (kewolayn) | 2 comments I’ve been looking forward to reading Ready Player Two because I enjoyed the first one so much and have bought this a while ago but I’ve been saving it for… I can’t even remember. Maybe I’m scared I will not like it as much as the first 😅 but I’m taking it on today 💪💪

Angie ☯ | 163 comments I rarely have a set list of books. I just read based on my mood. I've found for me that makes is so much more fun and I don't have any regrets for not reading everything I pick!

Maddie | 12 comments I’ve been reading Gone by Michael Grant! I’ve been loving it so far and it’s a really cool concept! It’s also a really long book series and I’m a big fan of those.

I have enjoyed going back to some of my old favorites I haven't read in YEARS. I finished a classic LM Montgomery right before the readathon started - Chronicles of Avonlea. Then just an hour or so before the readathon started, I began Further Chronicles of Avonlea.

Chronicles of Avonlea by L.M. Montgomery

Nona | 138 comments I'm also most looking forward to a reread. I adored The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison when it first came out, and this is the perfect time to reread it before reading the recently released second book.

Sara Grace | 24 comments I don't have a specific book I'm anticipating, but I'm anticipating finishing a couple of books and getting out of a reading slump

Beth | 190 comments Really looking forward to reading a decent chunk of Under Heaven by Guy Gavriel Kay. But I'd like to start and finish a shorter book before the readathon is over.

Found a copy in our neighbourhood’s little library, looking forward to it but won’t manage to read it during this readathon I’m afraid

Susy (susysstories) | 2288 comments Looking forward to Agatha Christie’s Crooked House, cause it’s an easy read and I love mysteries so ideal for the readathon.
Also looking forward to making a dent in Stephen King’s Rose Madder
