I am enjoying the total immersion aspect of readathon time this weekend. I am dealing with some very stressful circumstances right now that have been emotionally overwhelming over the past couple weeks, but for 24 hours all that matters is the hours of the readathon.
And, while some aspects of kitten rescue are more stressful this year (more kittens than usual means it is a lot harder to find adopters when kittens are ready) it is still nice living with such great kittens. I really hope I find homes for the ones that are ready, soon, but they are cute and friendly, and make good reading buddies tonight.

I hope all your cats find purr-ever homes too. It must be so satisfying when a cat chooses a human. Best of luck to you may the rewards must be massive!

Its really great that you are taking the time to connect with so many folks. I thinks that what makes me love the bookish community. Whether it's using the hashtags or participating in photo contests or sharing photos, nosh ideas it's all organic and meaningful. Enjoy your journey your way.

I'll go first. This is the most normal I've felt in a long time. I mean this is such a small thing in the larger scope of the world. But it kinda feels mega because I can enjoy this exactly the way I did pre-pandemic. So thank you and thanks for indulging me. It's really great to feel normal.
