Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon discussion

Do you have any bookish apparel/items (blankets, pillows, etc)? If you do, do you wear/use it especially for the readathon?

I usually wear my bookish sleep shirt, but I moved and I'm not sure where it is. I hope to use my Harry Potter blanket later. It may be August but our AC is unfortunately aimed right at my recliner.

Not really, but I do like hearing about other people's.

I have an enormous pillow which I use just for reading (on my bed), my blanket (though it’s not cold so it just lies here beside me lol) and of course Seven (see profile picture). She’s not an item but very important for my reading lol

I don't have particularly bookish things, but I did put on my gnome lounge pants for the readathon. They have little gnomes all over them like the ones on a book about gnomes I have.

I use my collection of reading slogan bookmarks that I've gotten free from the public library over the years to hold my place when I have to momentarily stop .
My favorites are
DON'T BUG ME I'M READING !
and
BOOKWORMS ARE HUNGRY FOR A GOOD BOOK
or
YOU'RE THE BEST CHAPTER IN MY LIFE
and
NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S MOVIE
They're trite but they keep me motivated .
