Penn Gates | 2 comments I published a 2nd edition of my book on Amazon, and the Goodreads link (still linked to that same Amazon book) is showing old cover and summary. I updated the cover/summary via my Goodreads account - but now it's showing FOUR EDITIONS under my "Combine Editions" page!  And when my daughter does a search on the book, it always shows the OLD VERSION. I'm afraid to delete any editions because I want to RETAIN the reviews.

The 'Combine' instructions are unclear & I still show FOUR editions of my book

Emily | 17503 comments I'm assuming you are referring to The Value of Damaged Things.
You accidentally created two alternate cover editions instead of one. I am merging one of them. The combine instructions do not apply here.

People like to shelve the edition of the book that they have, so we don't delete old covers.
As the author, you have the ability to set which edition you want to be the default that comes up in searches and on your page. Here are the instructions:
https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...
Here is the edition you should make the default:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
EDIT: This did not require a superlibrarian. For future issues you will want to post in the Book Issues folder.
