The language I'm most fluent in is English. I know some Mexican Spanish, New Mexico Spanish, Spanglish, and Texas Spanish (they are all different, trust me).

message 2: by Kyle (new)

Kyle Rid (kylerid) | 34 comments My native and thus the most fluent language is Russian. But also I can speak English, know a bit of German and can read in Polish (literally, only read without knowing what I'm reading)😃

message 3: by Kyle (new)

Kyle Rid (kylerid) | 34 comments Guys, how did you learn second and more languages - in the family, as a part of school curriculum, as a hobby on your own or somehow else?)

camilla(taylor's version) (camillareadings) | 709 comments Well, in Brazil Portuguese is our native language so we all speak, the best part in our opinion is that some things we say that other people don't understand or slang, like "msm" which is "really", "too" which is too, and so it goes.
We have this custom to abbreviate everything! haha
I study English at school since always because I started school early so as it was a private school you started to study the language you chose since you arrived, but in the 3rd year I studied Spanish, the language is good but the teacher was boring haha , but after that event I only study English!

camilla(taylor's version) (camillareadings) | 709 comments Until today

Most fluent in English.

camilla(taylor's version) (camillareadings) | 709 comments I'm not fluent in English but I love it and I only watch series in English because it's such a beautiful language!
As a Brazilian born I obviously speak fluent Portuguese. English I speak some things and understand a lot but never went outside Brazil to test my knowledge haha.

and english XD I really wish I were fluent in another language! I did take spanish for two years, and a year of Italian. But it's really cool cuz my parents speak korean, and my sister is pretty good with speaking french, and now she's legit like fluent in portuguese. And my bro is also learning porguguese rn (seeing as they're in brazil and portugal rn....kinda a must to learn the language XD) so yeah I'm a bit jealous of my sister being able to learn languages so well

ReadingNiffler I'm from Germany, so obviously I can speak German. I can speak English too, but I'd say I'm still learning it and not fully fluent yet... In school I've also been studying French, but I stopped a few months ago, after I got a B1 certificate (still haven't recieved it, but I'm 99% sure I got it).

message 29: by Kacie (new)

Kacie that's really cool :D where did japanese come from?? my rabbit has a German name XD that's about the extent of my German knowledge.

Sandra (johnnylyserg) | 117 comments I studied it at university, but I've forgotten a lot when I rushed through Danish though Q_Q

What is your rabbits name? And why does it have a German name of all possibilities? xD

message 31: by Kacie (new)

Kacie lol

her name is pfeffernüsse :p I call her pfeff, pfeffer, or pepper usually. she has a German name cuz...well she used to just be pepper. but then my aunt, who knows a lot of German (lived there for 18 months), told us about pfeffernüsse, and my mom loves pepper cookies....idk. I'm not really entirely sure how it happened other than my aunt mentioned it once XD

Sandra (johnnylyserg) | 117 comments Lol!
That is a cool story, and an unusual name for a pet rabbit - I love it! =D

My cat is Lithuanian and called Belle xD

message 37: by Shawna (new)

Shawna Finnigan (sugoishawn) | 389 comments I only really speak English. I took Spanish classes for nearly five years in school but the way that the teacher taught Spanish didn't really work for me so I didn't retain most of what I learned. He was all about teaching it to us like we were babies first learning to speak. He'd write Spanish words on the wall for us and not teach us verb forms, which works for some people but I remember stuff better from reading it in a textbook and memorizing words so yeah :/

message 38: by Em (new)
