THE Group for Authors! discussion

GoodReads seems to have a feature for authors, except that I can't find it to post News & Highlights for my latest novel that is enjoying a great success.

Any suggestion?

I’m a new author, and I want to pass along one thing I learned. As your story develops, it becomes easier to write. As characters gain personality, dialog becomes more natural. Character interplay flows more evenly. What this leads to is the first couple chapters being stylistically out of sync what follows. They can feel stilted, even forced. I’m sure seasoned authors know this, but I’ve just learned it: Your first chapter will be the last chapter you write!
