.
We invite YOU to nominate a theme for next month.

Perhaps there's a holiday (major or obscure) you want to celebrate? Maybe you want to focus on a specific genre or tag? Want to look for cover image or color? Focus on the author's initials? Whatever "theme" you can come up with is fair game.

BE SURE to include the task requirement for your theme:
Examples:
Christmas: Read a book that begins with a 'C'
Spring is Here!: Read a book with flower(s) on the cover - be sure to post the cover image.
Read a book with "COZY MYSTERY" as a genre

ONE nomination per member

To encourage participation from more members, the person who nominated LAST month's winning theme cannot nominate this month. So, Donna, you will *not* be able to submit a nomination (though you WILL be able to vote).

DEADLINE - 25 August 21 5p CST, or 5 nominations (whichever comes first)

Once the nominations are closed, we'll set up a poll for membership to vote on the theme for next month.

Nominated themes:
* September 11, 2001: Read a book that features a fireman, police officer, or character that gave their lives to same someone.
* National Elephant Appreciation Day: Elephant on the COVER /or/ Author's first and last initials in ELEPHANT
* International Talk Like a Pirate Day: Read a book where the characters are taking a sea voyage (cruise ship, or sailing to a new country, working on a ship, etc)

* September is National Library Card Month - Read a book whose author's initials are in NATIONAL LIBRARY CARD MONTH -or- where a character visits the library (quote the passage).
