Trisha (trishabisen) | 2389 comments This thread is to discuss Across the Green Grass Fields by Seanan McGuire, the sixth book in the Wayward Children series.

Pages: 174 pages

Length: 1 Month (September)

Participants: Ruthie, Dominique, Trisha, Alison, Sara.

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.

Happy Buddy Reading!

Sara Hollingsworth | 286 comments I read this last month on schedule, since I wasn't sure what happened to our board, lol.

But, anyways, I really liked this one. I kind of like the standalone ones the best. I mean Jack and Jill was great, but I don't know, their continuing story didn't feel as tightly written as say Lundy's background in In An Absent Dream.

I totally agreed, this one was my favorite. Still felt short, sometimes it felt rushed.

Ruthie (ruthieram_reads) | 985 comments I liked it a lot too and yes I think the standalone feel more like a whole story a short one but a whole one
