S.J. (sjtough) | 2 comments Quick question just joined group - does it have to be an older book? if yes - Regency Buck by Georgette Heyer.

Georgette Heyer qualifies ☺

I know that there are some "new" classics out there but I think we are looking for books at least 30 yrs old or more.

Sally906 The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

Has a HEA but really good children's adventure story and drama and secrets before you get there.

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) | 14528 comments Thanks, Sally but we read it in 2012. But if we get enough interest in it then I'll add it.

Sonya Heaney I don't often do group reads, but I've NEVER read a Georgette Heyer book (that's terrible for someone who reads heaps of historical romance!), so I could do with the motivation!

Shay (shaylyn318) | 66 comments How about Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie Also some others I want to read are Lady Chatterley's Lover by D.H. Lawrence , The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Chronicles of Narnia, #1) by C.S. Lewis

Now I honestly don't know if any above have a bad ending. This time I am not making a joke, I promise :)

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) | 14528 comments Shay, I added all but Lady Chatterley's Lover. That one was the Group Read back in Jan-Mar 2014. Thanks.
