Just wanted to let you all know that your spreadsheet and your team's review thread have been updated with your first 3 characters. You can now start planning for what you would like to read for September!

So the first round is Man, Queen Narissa and Ursula

I have some ideas but this is my first time so I'm not sure where to start with the plnning

I’ve had a look and I’ve got something for all 4 of Queen Narissa, all 4 for man and two for Ursula. Apologies if I’m jumping the gun and being too keen

We might well be in different time zones. In the UK it is Sept 1st am? So… what happens now? *twiddles thumbs*-do we need to confer about which book we are going to read first? If so- my first book will be
From Queen Narissa- a book published in (any) October- I am going to read Ring Shout.

It's 2 hrs different from the UK here. So I don't think the time zone will be much trouble for me.

Anyone in the far west will be late though. We can set a certain time for everyone to discuss tasks and buddy reads.

Hey, that task is about the series title not the book title and the book you're reading dosen't have the letter L in the series title, but i think that you can use the book for this one:
Ursula- Letters F,L,O,T,S,A,M in title (in any order)

By the way, i think that you can add your books to the spreadsheet once you start reading it, so that we don't get confused when we open the spreadsheet!

You would start the challenge if it's September in your time zone :)

Yes, if you read over 100 pages in September you can count the book for a task/character!

Hello!

So buddy reads have to take place within this group in order to count. The buddy thread has to be active as well. So if the last comment was more than 2 weeks ago it is considered inactive. If it's within 2 weeks, you are good to join that thread.

Technically you can join any buddy read that is already set for this month. Which you can find here - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

If you want to read a book with someone, you can go here to see if anyone wants to read the same book(s) as you -https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

BOTM threads are open until the 5th day of the next month. So the August BOTM threads will be closed on 9/6. September BOTM threads will be closed 10/6.

Also you and a buddy can read the same book if you are the only one participating in the challenge. You do not have to be in a challenge to read with a buddy or buddies.

I did notice that and got confused but it had been changed by the time I next looked and I thought I’d been imagining things!

Man: MC gets hurt and also ‘camp’ in the text- the reason I ask is I notice in my planning notes I had marked both of those as something I *could* tick off with a particular book. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t tick that it was ME doing them. Don’t think I did but just checking!
